WWE went through some big budget cuts yesterday after a very short call with Vince McMahon.
At the end of the day, around 40 names were on a list of releases. Hundreds more employees behind the scenes lost their jobs as well.
Fightful Select reports that WWE is giving NXT Superstars 30-day non compete clauses. It was previously reported that they will be paid for 30 days. Main roster Superstars are receiving 90-day non-competes.

Any thought that recently released WWE Superstars will be able to sign somewhere else immediately should be squashed. The current global climate prohibits that as well.
The Revival were given immediate releases without any kind of non-compete. The Superstars who were a part of this week’s mass release can’t sign anywhere for three months. It might take that long before any other company can begin to consider signing a new star anyway.
